The GD550 detector is a portable detector used as a service equipment. It is designed especially for detection of sources of gas leaks. The actual device can be connected to a probe for measuring the gas temperature or gas pressure and more. The data are showed on a display and their exceeding is indicated by an acoustic signal.

The power supply is provided by internal batteries or an external AC adapter. The variability of the device allows creating various arrangements. Each customer chooses a probe according to their needs. The devices and probes selected by the customer are delivered in a hard plastic case.

In addition to the plastic carrying case, each GD550 comes with a rechargeable AC adapter and USB A-C connection cable. This cable can be used to connect the GD550 to a computer. The GD550 can also be supplied with a clip that allows the device to be attached to a belt, for example. Other probes are supplied on customer order.

Probes for GD550 Portable Service Unit

AS01 - an analyser used for the "turbo" boilers setting. Using embedded sensors, it measures the flue gas temperature and its oxygen and carbon monoxide content. Other values are calculated by generally valid relations. A modified version of the AS02 probe does not have an oxygen sensor built in and is mainly used for measuring flue gas temperature and its CO content. The instruction manual is available here.

PS30 - basic gas probe for explosive gas detection. The probe can be connected directly to the GD550 or to the PSKAB extension cable.

PS51 - a low-power probe for detection of flammable gases. The detection of a gas leak corresponds with the PS50 probe. Its advantage is approximately a three times longer operation on one battery charge then it is for the PS50 probe. The sensor end allows partial rotation in the direction of the desired detection.

PS32 - low power probe for explosive gas detection with flexible and adjustable neck. The probe can be connected directly to the GD550 or to the PSKAB extension cable.

PS60 - probe for detection of CO in air. It is used as a replacement of the classic "detection tubes".

PS70 - probe for detection of oxygen concentration, allows to measure in the range from 0 to 25%.

PS80 - probe for detecting the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO₂), allows to measure in the range up to 5000 ppm, also displays information about temperature and humidity.

PS42 - probe for detecting refrigerant leakage R134a, R410, R32... When ordering, it is necessary to specify the refrigerant to which the probe is to be calibrated.

TS02 - probe for measuring very low pressures. It can be used e.g. for chimney draft detection or for the so-called 4 Pa test.

TS15, TS75, TS250 - probes for measuring pressure. They have the same mechanical design, different pressure range. TS15 can be used as a substitute for a one-meter-long glass U-gauge.

TS750, TS6M - pressure probe for range up to 750 kPa and for range 6 MPa.

T205 - a probe for measuring a temperature of gaseous or liquid medium. It can be used for measuring e.g. a flue gas temperature.

T405 - similar to T205, with a higher temperature range.

Accessories for the GD550

Clip - additional clip for GD550 allowing to wear the detector for example on clothes.

PSKAB - extension cable for all probes.
